Closure of Henbury Court daycare

We’re sorry to announce that a reduction in funding and continual rises in costs means that the Henbury Court daycare setting is no longer financially sustainable and we are sadly proposing to close it.

On Friday 9 April 2021, Rainbow room at Henbury Court will close and current children have the option to move to a dedicated room at our Brentry site until the end of the school year (23 August 2021).  After August, children may then join our nursery or preschool at Brentry.

We would like to reassure you that we are still committed to the Henbury community and we will continue to deliver our valuable Family Support services in this area.  Please get in touch if you have any concerns or want to discuss options for your child.

New Trustees wanted

We’re currently looking for new Trustees to join our board, especially people with experience in HR, Safeguarding, SEND or Early Years.

Brentry’s Big Splash!

Outdoor play in all weathers is really important for our kids, especially during this lockdown.

On 1-5 March we’re holding Brentry’s Big Splash! Children in Daisy and Poppy Rooms (our 2-3 year olds) will be doing 1,000 sponsored puddle splashes to raise money for new waterproofs (our old ones are falling apart!).

Please get involved by sponsoring a child – sponsor forms are available from Reception, or you can donate via JustGiving!

*FREE workshop for expectant parents and family members*

If you would like to join this virtual event on Wednesday 10th February at 10.45am, please email for the log in details.

If you are looking for any support around breastfeeding, we would love to hear from you. Give us a call on 0117 9593800 and ask to speak to Emma or a member of the Family Support Team who will be very happy to help!

Charity Auction Night – Friday 15th November

A massive thank you to everyone that helped out, took part in or came along to our first ever auction night.

The donations and support exceeded all expectations and this can be seen in the total of £2,987 that we were able to raise.

We had many positive comments on the evening, so keep an eye on the calendar for what could become an annual event.
