Treasurer

Our current Treasurer has held the role for over 10 years and is looking to stand down at the next AGM (September 2019). BHCC are therefore looking to recruit a new Treasurer to join our Board of Trustees. We are looking to bring someone on board in the New Year to shadow the Treasurer to ensure a smooth transition. The right person will have a strong financial background.

The role is a hugely rewarding one supporting the work of this highly respected Charity. The role involves providing scrutiny and oversight of the Management Accounts at monthly board meetings that are produced by the internal Business Support Team. In addition you will be involved in the Budget setting process, Audit of Statutory Accounts and leading the Finance Sub-committee.

The role requires on average a minimum of 5 hours/month rising to 10 hours at certain points of the year.

You will be joining a highly functioning Board and a sustainable and healthy Charity in exciting times. Trustees on this board have currently served between 1 – 12 years.
