Henbury Court Childcare

Henbury Court Children’s Centre is based in the lower building of Henbury Court Academy school and we offer a range of family support and day care within a warm, caring and supportive environment. Our Henbury Court site has been open for 5 years allowing the Brentry and Henbury Childrens Centre to offer more extensive support to the growing community.

The Centre’s opening hours are 9am- 3pm (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday) and we offer morning and afternoon sessions between these hours. We provide sessional care for children aged 2-3 years, encouraging them to explore and learn in both the inside and outside areas. We have a wide range of activities that encourage children to explore and develop, we value the children’s interests and plan around this offering children ways to extend learning. All our activities are varied, imaginative and very messy! We have lots of physical activities too, including Forest school sessions where the children can build confidence and self-esteem as well as develop an understanding of boundaries and rules.

We also offer a range of family support services at the centre working in partnership with other agencies and responding to the community need. Please fill out an ‘Expression of Interest‘ form if you would like to apply for a Childcare place.
