The Children’s Centre at the Brentry site is a purpose built building offering a bespoke environment for the provision of quality childcare. The timber framed buildings offer a light and airy space with a natural feel. The first building was built in 2004 and subsequent extensions and new buildings have been added to expand and improve the facilities. The extensive outdoor spaces are a natural extension of the indoor environment offering fantastic learning opportunities including wildlife areas and opportunities for physical play.
The Centre’s opening hours are 8.ooam – 5.30pm offering full and sessional childcare for children aged 9 months – 5 years. We have a wide range of activities that encourage children to explore and develop, we value the children’s interests and plan around this offering children ways to extend learning. All our activities are varied, imaginative and often messy! We have lots of physical activities too, including Forest school sessions where the children can build confidence and self-esteem as well as develop an understanding of boundaries and rules.
We also offer a range of family support services at the centre working in partnership with other agencies and responding to the community need. Please fill out an ‘Expression of Interest‘ form if you would like to apply for a Childcare place.
