Children Affected by Parental Offending

More than 310,000 children are affected by parental offending a year. The imprisonment of a household member is seen as one of the 10 Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) known to have a significant impact on children.

Brentry and Henbury Children’s Centre is commissioned by Bristol City Council to lead the Children Affected by Parental Offending (CAPO) project throughout Bristol.

Here at Brentry and Henbury Children’s Centre we have trained professionals who can support you and your families who have been impacted by offending. We have a wide range of knowledge, resources and services & agencies that can support you and your family.
